Plus, we were running out of songs to make into videos… In 2009, we are going to make a documentary. About us. Yeah yeah, self-indulgent my ass…it’s gonna be great! And we need your help friends, fans and detractors… Here’s what we need: -Any BLAMMOS-related artwork We will be contacting a lot of people individually, but please contact us @ blammostheband@yahoo.com if you want in on the project. We’re open to any ideas you all may have as well… Hopefully production will be finished by November 30th and we’ll put up a trailer and some other clips. Peforming hiatus.Monday, July 27th, 2009While Arthur is on tour with Planet Earth’s bravest and most handsomest Space & Science band The Phenomenauts this summer we will be taking a brief hiatus from live performance. But fear not…we have just finished tracking our new LP at Studio SQ and we hope to mix, master and press it by the end of the year! We’ll upload a rough mix or two sometime soon…so check it out. It may seem to our loyal friends and fans that we have called it quits or taken a hiatus. But, no, mis blammitos pequenitos, that is not the case. Yes, we haven’t had an official bass player since November, and yes, I have been touring with the world’s bravest and most handsomest space band, =The Phenomenauts= but fear not! We’re still here, and we’re still queer (for you). Just to prove it we’re playing a rockin’ full band show in Earth’s capital, Oakland CA April 23rd, and we hope you all can come out and celebrate THE RETURN OF BLAMMOS with us!!!

We couldn’t have done it without your help! Now what should we blow the money on? Vote for us in the FINALS!!!Saturday, January 31st, 2009We have made it through to the finals in the Music Video competition on Ourstage.com which means that A: you all helped us come in first place in the Rock Videos category and B: that now we’re in the finals, up against the other videos that won their categories. So if you could find it in your hearts to find the time to judge in this one last round, login and go right here: http://www.ourstage.com/judge?channel=39-video-finals and go through all 15 rounds of competition. When our video comes up, please vote it “By Far” the best (but only if you think so…). You only have to watch each other video for 15 seconds, and you only have to watch them once each… The competition ends at Midnight EST tomorrow (Saturday 31st) night! Vote for “How do you know?” on Ourstage!Sunday, January 25th, 2009Our Video for “How do you know?” has made it into the semi-finals on Ourstage! It’s currently residing at number 3 out of 371! So now we need your help to win. If you’re already a member then you know what to do. If you’re not, join up and find the Rock Videos contest. Then start judging. UPDATE: There has been some confusion as to how the competition works so here is a brief description of how to help us win this month: After you make an account and activate it go to JUDGE. Then select from the little pull down menu “Rock Music Videos.” It will send you to head-to-head competition with all the videos in the finals (20 total I think). You only have to watch 15 secs of each video before you judge them. Since we’re number one ours should come up every few rounds. You can judge all day every day for the entire week if you want. Some of you know about this already, but I wanted to let everyone in on the news. In addition to my BLAMMOS/Arthur Adams music/video activities, I will also be playing the role of Leftenant AR7 in Planet Earth’s own The Phenomenauts!!! San Francisco Bay Area, USA, Earth, Milky Way residents can see us play Saturday January 24th at Slim’s. I’m really excited to be sharing the stage (and defending Science & Honor throughout the universe) with these fellas. Did I mention I’m a robot? |
