If you must know, here’s what happened:

Arthur Leon Adams III started BLAMMOS in 2004 in San Francisco CA.
Jake Ide, Nathan Eastman & Joe Wilson joined.
Jackie Crispell signed on as manager.
Released two EPs.
Played locally and developed a loyal cult following 2004-2005.
Released first Holiday EP: “(As Red As) Santa’s Suit” b/w “The Reason (for the Season).”
Nate quit.
Recorded It can*t be true one weekend in March 2005.
Jake quit.
Released It can*t be true in January 2006.
Made music video.
Developed interim line-up for touring.
Played Northeast US Tour February 2006.
Played SXSW March 2006.
Played US Tour April 2006.
Joelle Jaffe joined in fall 2006.
Tim Marcus & P. David Stockhausen followed.
Joe quit.
Tim also joined Or, The Whale.
Released 2nd Holiday EP: “Chanukah with a ‘C’” b/w “Rocketship to Heaven.”
Made video. Won contest. Spring 2007.
Started “Bay Area Independent Music Video Festival” with Mission Creek Festival.
Went into studio with JJ Wiesler to record 2nd album.
Released “How do you know?/We’ll be free; We ARE free!” single on the internets. Summer 2007.
Some critical acclaim. Press and blog write-ups. Podcasts. Etc.
Played CMJ Music Marathon Oct 2007 in Talking House SF@CMJ Showcase.
Inspired by Cinemasports, DOES NOVEMBER 2007.
David, Tim and Arthur recorded and performed in side project, The Special Goodbye.

Jackie parted ways. Early 2008.
Curated and hosted 2nd “Bay Area Independent Music Video Festival.”
Yo Noguchi & Michael Matias joined line-up on trumpet and guitar respectively.
David Foster Wallace died. Tribute recorded. Sept 2008.

Arthur joined The Phenomenauts.
Won another video contest. Jan 2009.
Yo left.
Went into Studio SQ to record more tracks for 2nd album.
Michael quit.
Arthur went on tour for summer 2009 with The Phenomenauts. BLAMMOS on hiatus.
Released new single. Sept 2009.
NOVEMBER. BLAMMOS started making documentary about BLAMMOS.
Booked then cancelled West Coast tour. Dec 2009.
Tim and David went on part-time status.
Who The $%#@ is BLAMMOS? a film by BLAMMOS.
9 months went by.
Jimmy Boom from The Phenomenauts joined on drums.
Nick Kirschner from The Phenomenauts joined on bass.
Shows played with new line-up. Fall 2010.
New Holiday single released.
Some critical acclaim. Press and blog write-ups. Podcasts. Etc.
Released a collection of music recorded from 2007-2010 called “The Album We Can’t Afford to Release…That You Can’t Afford to Miss!!!” that featured singles, rough mixes and demos.
Played tons of dirty punk rock shows throughout 2011.
Nick moved.
Tim came back into the fold.
Made new t-shirts in January 2012.
Played three amazing shows with one of Arthur’s favorite bands, The Slackers in Sacramento, San Francisco & Santa Cruz. Sold T-Shirts.
Started working on music for a new record.
